Learning Objectives:
At the end of this meeting participants will be able to:

  • Describe the most recent research findings and clinical areas of interest in psychosomatic medicine.
  • Analyze the different perspectives of psychosomatic medicine from pediatrics to geriatrics offered by leaders in the field.
  • Discuss relevant public health and policy perspectives relevant to psychosomatic medicine (C-L psychiatry).
  • Apply the latest uses of psychotropic medications to their clinical practice for the benefit of their patients including during pregnancy.
  • Compare different approaches to the provision of evidence-based psychiatric care for the medically ill.
